On Saturday, November 7, 2009, Tyrone will hold its first River’s Alive Clean-Up Event. Volunteers will meet at Tyrone Town Hall, 881 Senoia Road, at 9:00 AM. From there, supplies will be distributed and we will have a brief safety meeting. Then, we will break up into two groups and head out to clean up trash along the roadways and stream banks of two different segments of Line Creek, a stream that supplies drinking water to our area. The two segments are located along Palmetto Road and Castlewood Road. Please join us in an effort to beautify one of our planet’s most valuable resources, our streams.
