The Public Works Department is responsible for the Town's streets and sidewalks and making sure that the Town's right of ways get mowed and sidewalks are safe for pedestrian traffic. They take care of the Town's parks and walking paths. The Public Works Department patches potholes, trims tree limbs back off the roads, and ensures the cleanliness of the Town. Other areas of responsibilities are the street signs in Town, scraping dirt roads, maintaining storm drains, and assisting the Police Department with Traffic control during emergencies. We also assist the Library and Recreation Departments with their special programs.
