THE ACTING UNIVERSITY CLASSES

On Going Classes

Thursday nights, 4-5 pm and

Saturdays, 12:30-1:30pm

 Beginner Classes

Acting 101: Learn everything from stage direction to physical comedy, voiceover to improv, character development to scene study and stage movement. Theatre games and practical application make this a fun time!

Advanced Classes

Acting for the camera, an intense  focus on cold reads, close ups, and script interpretation. In addition, audition etiquette for the serious actor who wants to hone their craft and win the principal roles.  

       Destination, Hollywood

This is a professional V/Film training program designed for kids, teens and adults who are dedicated to pursue a career in the TV and Film industry. Included are on camera acting, audition techniques, on set etiquette, personal marketing, headshots, resumes,

websites and how to get an agent.

BALLROOM DANCING
A stepping stone for Ladies

Sundays,  7PM - 8PM, $35.00 for the session

Learn how to “follow the lead”, step patterns of Swing, Cha-cha, Rumba, Fox Trot and the Waltz with the proper timings of these dances. A great class for ladies, who want to learn the dance steps for their individual part. No partner needed.*

Family Martial Arts




Martial Arts Class offered to Children and Adults of all ages!
The Martial Arts of Kuk Sool is more than just another punching and
kicking system. In this class, a student will learn not only self
protection skills, but principles behind the techniques. Come try a

YOGA



*Yoga for Wellness - Rawls Whittlesey, Instructor*
This yoga class is taught in a gentle Vinyasa style (flow synchronized
with the breath). In addition to traditional yoga poses (asanas), it
also incorporates body awareness, breathing exercises (pranayama), guided
imagery, meditation and relaxation to make for a rich yoga practice that
helps relieve stress and keeps the body strong, flexible and mobile.
Suitable for all experience levels.

Rawls Whittlesey has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years and is
certified to teach by Yoga Alliance (RYT200) and Integrative Yoga Therapy
(IYT200) having trained in their Therapeutic Yoga Teacher program.  Integrative Yoga Therapy brings the ancient insights of many different types of Yoga into mainstream wellness programs.   Rawls' background in yoga practice includes workshops and  training in Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, and Viniyoga, and she draws heavily on the teachings of the founders of Integrative Yoga Therapy, Joseph and Lillian LePage, as well as the teachings of Gary Kraftsow. 

Bring a yoga mat, block, strap and blanket or towel.
