SUMMER READING PROGRAMS
Readers of all ages will travel the globe this summer as Tyrone Public Library presents "One World, Many Stories" during their summer reading program. Children will explore places from Oceania to Russia through stories, crafts, drama, magic, and other activities. The 2011 Summer Reading Program is open to all ages, preschool through adult, with programs, prize drawing, a reading club and more. Registration for the children's reading program "One World, Many Stories" begins on Monday, May 23, 2011 to July 25, 2011. Handouts will be available in May. Area youth, middle school through high school, are encouraged to participate in "You Are Here." Registration also begins on May 23. Youth are invited to come to the library and read for prizes as well as to take part in special events offered throughout the summer.
Adults pack your bags and get ready to go! Travel to "Novel Destinations" at the library. The 2011 Summer Reading Program is open to adults ages 18 and older and will run concurrently with the children's and youth programs.
All programs are FREE!
