Tyrone is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the larger cities and towns, including Atlanta, while being close enough to national chain shopping, transportation and places of employment. The direction Town management received from Tyrone citizens was to keep the small town atmosphere. We are constantly keeping this mandate in mind.

Tyrone offers a safe, low crime environment, a modern library, parks and recreation and is part of the Fayette County School System which is considered one of the best in the state.
