During the holidays, many residents will be leaving their homes or businesses for an extended period of time. Here are some helpful tips to remember before leaving for the holidays:
Join us on Friday December 5, 2008 at Triangle Park for the lighting of our Christmas Tree. Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m.

On Friday October 31, 2008 the Tyrone Police Department was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice worth over $3,000. The grant pays 50% towards the purchase of new ballistic vests for our officers.
Ballistic vests expire every 5 years and must be replaced.
Several searches for "code of ordinances" have been made on our website over the past several days. Please be advised that the Town is in the process of getting our ordinances prepared for online delivery, but this is not a quick or easy process as there are no digital copies of these documents at this time. Consequently, we cannot provide a date when they will be available online.
All of our ordinances are available for public viewing at Town Hall, 881 Senoia Road.
Our website transfer process has been completed and, as you can see, we've made some small improvements to our site in the process. You may find that some areas of the site are still not completed at this time, but we are working hard to get all of our information re-posted as quickly as possible.
We will be adding new features to the website over the next few weeks, so please check back often for updates.
